MCP Servers Explained: Why We Chose This Architecture for Enterprise AI

A few months ago, one of our engineers asked a question that had been bothering me for a while: "Why are we writing the same integration glue for every new AI agent we ship?" He was right. Every new project meant another bespoke connector to Jira, another adapter for Figma, another wrapper around our internal APIs.
